Boarded by Love

Set on the University of Bellevue campus, the first Bellevue Bullies novel pairs a star hockey player on the cusp of the professional draft with a fiercely self-reliant sophomore who has built her life around financial security. Jude Sinclair collects easy wins on and off the ice, but Claire Anderson is no easy win. Her guarded heart is the product of a painful past, and where he sees possibility, she sees risk. The central tension is less will-they-won't-they and more a question of whether two people with incompatible ideas of safety can build something that holds.

The dual narration by Joe Arden and Felicity Munroe is the production's standout feature. Arden brings charismatic swagger to Jude's voice, making his gradual vulnerability feel earned, while Munroe gives Claire a quiet intensity that grounds the emotional stakes. At just over sixteen hours, the runtime gives the romance room to breathe, and the alternating perspectives keep the pacing dynamic. Internal monologue-heavy writing translates naturally to performance, and both narrators deliver enough chemistry to make the dual POV feel like a genuine conversation.
