Hungry Ghosts

Necromancer Eric Carter is in deep trouble. Trapped in a divine power struggle, he finds himself caught between two Aztec death deities: Santa Muerte, the patron saint of death to whom he's unhappily bound, and Mictlantecuhtli, her ancient ex, who is slowly turning Carter to stone as he breaks free from his jade prison. Both gods demand he assassinate the other, leaving Carter with one unhinged solution: kill them both. That means descending into Mictlan, the Aztec land of the dead, where the worst trial awaiting him isn't vengeful gods but his own sins.
