Kaleidocide

In a near-future San Francisco rebuilt after catastrophic earthquakes, corporate power has replaced civic government. The Bay Area Security Service controls the city-state with an iron hand, and its newly appointed leader, Michael Ares, barely has time to grasp the scope of his inheritance before a shadowy Chinese general marks him for death. What sets this threat apart is the method: a kaleidocide, a relentless sequence of assassination attempts engineered never to fail. Ares must piece together why he was chosen for this role while surviving long enough to find answers.

The full-cast production transforms the story into something closer to a radio drama, with distinct voices lending each character real presence. Ken Jackson, Colleen Delany, Nora Achrati, and the rest of the ensemble bring convincing weight to both the thriller's tense action sequences and its quieter character moments. At just over six hours, the pacing stays lean, and the layered vocal performances give the futuristic world texture that a single narrator would struggle to convey.
